How Can Joint Ventures Help You Grow Your Business?

Online, most people know me as “The JV Queen”.  I earned this name by organizing some pretty darned HUGE joint ventures for some of the biggest names on the ‘net.

Because of my title, I am often asked by people just getting started how “newbies” can use Joint Ventures to build their business.  An equally large number of people ask me how affiliate marketers and network marketers can use Joint Ventures to get bigger results.

The one thing that everyone seems to already know about Joint Ventures is that they can pull in millions in what appears to be  a relatively short period of time — even in as little as a day or a week.

What outsiders and newcomers don’t realize though, is that although the money comes in a short period of time, the actual time spent on the joint venture can be many, many months — or even years.

The other thing that ousiders and newcomers don’t seem to realize is that as you are just starting out, Joint Ventures can actually help you to leverage the assets of other business owenrs to get your business rolling faster.

So how can someone in affiliate marketing use Joint Ventures?  What can someone just starting out do to benefit in a big way from Joint Ventures?

Entrepreneurs just getting started online can use Joint Ventures (JV’s) to increase their bottom line in a number of different ways.  This includes:

  • Participating in a joint venture to promote someone else’s product (i.e. joining as an “enhanced” affiliate which sometimes gets you a higher commission rate)
  • Organizing a joint venture to promote your own product (i.e. managing a team of “special” affiliates who like what you sell)
  • Using a joint venture with an expert to create a product of your own
  • Using a joint venture with other experts to get content created for your blog, or
  • Using a joint venture to get other people (product creators, affiliates, or resellers) to contribute gifts in exchange for an opt in subscriber to grow your list, and then get them to all promote the site (this is the Joint Venture Giveaway model)

Each of these is extremely profitable for both newcomers to marketing and to experienced marketers as well.  BUT — contrary to what many gurus tell you, joint ventures do not happen just by picking up the phone and calling your friends.  It takes MUCH more than that to make a joint venture successful.

In order to have a successful joint venture, especially on today’s internet — you’ve got to have a SYSTEM.  That system must be one that has already proven successful in building profitable joint ventures.  And, it must be duplicatable in ANY niche and in ANY business.

What made me known as “The JV Queen” was NOT having hundreds of thousands of people in a rolodex that I could call on any time that I wanted or needed.

What made me “The JV Queen” was the system that I used to organize profitable Joint Ventures for marketers of all sizes, in all different niches.

This system worked successfully to organize joint ventures in the internet marketing niche for people such as Russell Brunson, Shawn Casey, and Henry Gold.

The system also worked well to organize joint ventures in the self improvement niche for people like

And the system worked equally well to organize joint ventures in the asset protection niche for people like Drew Miles.

My point is that this system is completely DUPLICATABLE in ANY niche!  It’s already proven itself time and time again.

Now here’s the coolest part about it …

Not only does my system work for creating product launches, it also works for building so many different KINDS of joint ventures!  That’s the really cool thing about the system — you can use it to launch a product, create a product, build a list, drive traffic, or anything else you can come up with to do using a joint venture!

This system can be used by Product Creators, Affiliate Marketers, JV Brokers, Affiliate Managers — literally ANYONE wanting to make money using Joint Ventures to gain leverage!

I recently ran a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) for this course at the lowest price ever of only $47.  And I want to make that special available to YOU, the affiliates of The IM U Affiliates.

But it’s only going to be available for the next 48 hours at …

So, if you’re serious about building your business, then you need to download this multi-media home study course and put the strategies to work in your business!

Meeting rooms Says:

Very useful tips. Joint venture marketing is a subset of the relationship marketing family philosophy, but applies relationship marketing principles in a different way, which ideally helps to stimulate growth and strong relationships.

Birmingham Accountants Says:

Its as the old saying goes: “United we stand, divided we fall”. We’ll always achieve much greater success working as a team than as individuals.

bethany from makeup artist in san antonio Says:

it is totally necessary to have a solid system in building joint ventures, instead of just thinking that you can rely on your friendship alone. Ridiculous! I like the fact that your system will work for creating product launches, since that is an area that I am still unclear about.

I’ve been a long time reader, and after this excellent post I just had to comment! Very nice blog, but where can I find your RSS feed?

Ken Lowman from falcon ridge at the ridges real estate Says:

I think Joint Ventures can be pretty successful if you find right people and guidance because for newbies it can be a bit difficult and they won’t have any idea where to go. And trust is also very important since allowing someone to promote your product is to give them your 60-70% credibility.

Angel from SEM management Says:

Gina, No wonder on why you earned the title “JV Queen” :D Whenever people think about JV they conclude its all about raising money, but you have clearly explained other aspects of JV that too with the internet scenario. Great tips.

Joint ventures are something that I have tried in the past for affiliate products that I have launched but never had any success with them at all.

I hope to give it another shot, and pray for better results this time following your tips.

Hi Gina,

Great post. If it was not for JV’s I am positive I would still be struggling to make for first sale, or for that matter get my first sign up to my list.

JVs are very valuable to any business as you noted. And JVs are an excellent way to increase your list size. After all without a list your business and sales are dead in the water.

Gina from National Association of Professional Women Says:

Another advantage of a joint venture is that any risk involved is shared, so less pressure on you. Also the flexibility in a joint venture can make your life a lot easier. The life span of the agreement can be just enough to cover what you want as a joint venture is not a life time partnership. Great post. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Jax from Tomb Raider Costumes Says:

JV’s are a great way for up and comers to make a name for themselves. If a smart guy with a cool product teams up with someone with a huge list for example, the benefits for both people really can be huge.

For me, JV was the best thing i ever did. A totally ordinary story became a mildly success once i made this step, making my life easier. Great post btw.

Daz from green home plans Says:

I’ve known a few queens but when it comes to IM, I think you are a real queen there. I’ve heard about some of your JVs but I should say that for people just starting out, it is quite difficult to persuade established bloggers to do JVs. I bet they delete 99% of all messages without reading.

Angela from Webdesign Says:

Great post! I’ve recently participated in a few joint ventures. I’m working as a freelance webdeveloper and I’ve contacted some people who are known as excellent Flash developers, graphic designers and internet marketeers.

Everytime I got a job for them, I give them a call. And vice-versa ofcourse! That is the way you can get your business going, in my opinion: by giving and taking!

How to instantly add hundreds of buyers to your list using a little known strategy that only the top 1% of marketers know about.

Eli from Eskimo Costumes Says:

JV’s can definitely help your business. They have been good for me in the past not only for making a bit of money during product launches but also for getting my name out there amongst my niche community.

Jo from Sell Costumes Online Says:

I’ve used Joint Ventures in the past and the long term effect is often close relationships with other marketers in your field which can be very beneficial.

Wolfy from Las Vegas Homes Sale Says:

You have to be careful too, because even your friends will screw you over in the business world.

This editorial consists of some pretty engrossing info that one hardly ever finds out. And the point made is inescapable ?but however I see no potential by any means of the essential radical shift in outlook !

Christian Marriage Help Says:

You definately have to be careful in a joint venture. You have to know you’re in it with someone you trust and know well.
